Catholic honesty, especially about transubstantiation, was an inspired, timely choice for Richard Dawkins to tackle in Dublin ... just a few days before the Eucharistic Congress there, an event that, at one time, was a huge triumphalist celebration of RC mind-imperialism (centred on transubstantiation). See HERE for details of the massive attendance of 500 000 people who attended the final day of the same event in 1932 in Dublin. Although the 2012 Congress isn't over yet (congress not reached its climax?!) early indications (here) are that this week's congress will be a limp, impotent affair in comparison with the 1932 event. Catholics are beginning to be honest?
